Privacy Policy

How SMP+ handles information across the website, Minecraft network and Discord services.

1

Information we collect

We may process Minecraft usernames and UUIDs, Discord user IDs, server activity, moderation records, transaction references, support messages and technical logs. Appeals can also contain written explanations, evidence links and images supplied by the person submitting them.

2

Why we use it

We use this information to operate account and inventory syncing, deliver purchases, prevent abuse and duplication, enforce server rules, investigate incidents, answer support requests and review appeals.

3

Payments

Tebex processes store checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. SMP+ receives the information needed to identify the purchase and deliver it, but does not receive or store complete card details.

4

Appeals and security

Discord-ban appeals store the supplied Discord ID, Minecraft username, appeal text and status. A one-way hash derived from the submitting connection is used for rate limiting. Uploaded images are forwarded to the private staff review forum and removed from the appeal database after delivery.

5

Who receives information

We do not sell personally identifiable information (PII). Direct access to the underlying databases, infrastructure and raw records is limited to the two server owners. Managers and other staff must ask an owner to investigate relevant records. They normally receive only a brief finding or action needed to handle the case, such as confirmation that an item vanished and was refunded, rather than the underlying records or unrelated account information.

6

Retention and protection

Records are kept only while reasonably needed for operation, security, moderation, dispute handling and legal obligations. Database access, internal staff tools and service credentials are restricted according to role, with regular staff shown as little sensitive data as practical.

7

Questions and requests

You can ask about information associated with your account or request a correction through an SMP+ Discord ticket. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you, and some records may need to be retained for security or legal reasons.
